POLICY: |
| A restocking
fee of at least 10% shall apply to all returns. Where packaging is
incomplete or destroyed the restocking
fee will be 25%. For special order
merchandise the restocking
fee is 50%. Merchandise returned that was paid
for in cash shall be refunded in cash or check at the discretion of Elgin
Key & Lock Co. Credit card sales shall be handled as credit card
refunds. Merchandise returned that was paid for with a check shall be
refunded with a check within 15 days of the return. The customer shall be
responsible for any freight or delivery charges incurred returning any
merchandise unless the item was shipped in error by Elgin Key & Lock
Company. Absolutely no returns after 30 days. THE ORIGINAL SALES INVOICE MUST ACCOMPANY ALL OVER-THE-COUNTER
RETURNS. |

| Since the
goods sold are not manufactured by us, Elgin Key & Lock Company makes
no warranty, express or implied, as to such goods, excepting that all
goods sold are owned by it, free of any security interest or other lien.
Elgin Key & Lock Company will, however, make available to the Buyer
all transferable warranties made to it by the Manufacturers,
and will use all reasonable efforts to obtain from the Manufacturers ,
in accordance with the Manufacturers customary practices, the repair or
replacement of such goods as may prove to be defective in workmanship or
materials. THE WARRANTY EXPRESSED IN THIS PARAGRAPH IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN
LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY
OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR USE NOT MENTIONED ABOVE.
Installation work is warranted for a period of thirty days, EXCEPTING any
changes in structures or frames occurring as a result of weather or other
cause beyond our control. Electrical parts purchased from seller to be
installed by Buyer or Buyer's Agent or Customer are sold AS-IS and as such
are not warranted or returnable. All merchandise that is sold "AS-IS" is not
warranted in any way. |
